No I just check TCRF and make sure I play whatever the best regional version of a game is.

The underwear thing I always thought was a bit much. Like if it flashed for a second like with Roll in Marvel vs Capcom, it's maybe in better taste, but it just really hangs out there.

Interestingly, even in the first game they intended to have her underwear show for many of the frames. Our only evidence of this used to be the Game Gear version, but this recently found beta footage also shows it:

A while back I took the japanese air kick sprites, added back in a pantsu shot from the beta ROM I found god knows where, plus I added some very minor peeks in the neutral air kick and downward air chop (and maybe something else I've forgotten). Use the pancake2 utility on RHDN to add these in to whichever SoR/BK ROM you want.

Diversify your sources. They've had censorship apologists who refuse to document censorship, or water it down with long tirades how the "localized version" feels better. You should also consider censorship isn't very effective when the censored material (original graphic) gets too much attention, or the occurrence of the act of censorship itself is made known and discussed at all. It's at its best when the replacement of the original version is complete. Naturally, anyone who'd be on board with said censorship will be upset with that.

ResetEra is that weird site that defends modern game censorship via Californian localizers so much, that when faced with the realization old-school game censorship uses the exact same methods and goals and was called censorship indeed, have made it their life mission to rewrite the entire gaming history and claim ALL of that censorship isn't, in fact, censorship.

They'll be happy to tell you on the other hand, that the mere consideration of a sacred cow demographic or subject in an art book of the game that didn't make it to the final game, or the absence of fag marriage in a game that never had it planned, or a translation of a visual novel that mistranslated one of the lines of a lesbian couple in an entire conversation where they are openly lusting for each other sexually, does in fact count as censorship.
