It was the beginning of programming. Sure it existed before that, but the Speccy was the first machine most had and a lot of game devs cut their teeth on the machine. The introduction of 6th gen to this board awakened a giant.

I have no idea what point you are trying to make with that garbled mess of a paragraph, but the clue is in the name, faggot.

This is a retro board. That means there is nothing new to discuss. That means that you can take a snapshot of this board at any point in time and it will be basically the same thing over and over again. Sure, you can change the rules and say that a new generation is now retro, but the consequence was people saying "Fuck that". It's not one guy or a mod, it's longstanding members of the board who are here to discuss RETRO gaming.
