What's the maddest you've ever gotten at a video game, and what set you off?

Where my ragebros at?
I've always been a ragebro. I used to bite controllers, slam controllers, and I even kicked a hole in a wall once. One time I even popped a friend on the top of his head with a controller (pretty lightly, to be fair). I've mellowed out a bit, but I'm still a ragebro. Smashed the fuck out of my phone not too long ago. Most of the time I just turn it inward and bite my hand, sometimes until I bleed.

I twisted a first party Dual Shock 2 in half down the center (basically moving my hands in opposite directions as if it was a NeGcon) while playing Tony Hawk's American Wasteland due to a buggy ramp not registering when I was trying to jump at it for a challenge multiple times.

I have no idea how it happened. Maybe one of my ancestors was a waterhead and in that moment I channeled all of his ethereal Tard Strength, but I twisted it clean in half like it was nothing.

I was shocked, and then immediately felt like a complete fucking idiot for destroying one of my controllers, and I have never damaged a piece of videogame hardware since.

But %99.50 percent of the time, I just alt-f4. I just stop playing if I'm not having fun anymore. I will never understand this sort of rage at vidya. Why not just stop before you get so frustrated?

Right here. I’ve broke many controllers. Sad this is in 31, married, and have 4 children. One time I even took the power brick from the back of my Xbox one and slammed it on the ground shattering it. Just today I was replaying RE1 Directors cut and accidentally pigeonholed myself into a bad save file. When I start the game I have no health or ammo and where I need to go has like 30 zombies in between. For 2 hours I was trying to reach a room and almost getting there. Once I finally got there I forgot to bring the chemical so it was all for nothing so I slammed my controller onto the tile.

slamming carts or controllers against the wall was nothing, I did stuff like:
