I'm here and not only I got a master system for christmas I also got a NES for christmas some years prior

Actually I was the kid who wanted a Master System instead of a Nintendo because of Rambo 2. Luckily my dad ended up selling my Nintendo for a better Sega system, which was the Sega Genesis. All the kinds in my block were insanely jealous because they were stuck with a Nintendo. Luckily I ended up buying a Sega Master System with 14 games(including Rambo 2), along with some accessories for just $60. That shit's worth over $400 altogether. I am now a proud owner of a SMS, Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn and Sega Dreamcast.

Because some Americans are too immature and think that brand loyalty is more important than giving competitors a chance. Likely I was one of those kids who wanted to give competitors a chance because Nintendo shouldn't be the only company making game consoles. I feel the same way with comics because it seems every kid was bashing on DC Comics and praising Marvel, I wasn't going to be brainwashed into thinking DC sucks, so I gave DC a chance and enjoyed their comics. This was back in the 90's too when comics were very good. Anyways brand loyalty can suck a dick.

My parents bought a SMS2 with about 5 games from target when it went on clearance. i think i was 3. loved action fighter and wonder boy. my boomer dad loved out run europa.
