Nah man. I love it too. Got a soft spot in my heart for really cheesy stuff and the music in Sonic R is maximum cheese.

I suppose I was only a kid at the time, but I absolutely loved Sonic R. I suppose as a kid you don't care so much about shoddy controls, you just get on with it. I might play it again some time, I admittedly haven't played it in years, so I might have another play through of it.

How can anyone un-ironically enjoy the singing in Sonic R? Her voice is plane and the lyrics are grade-school level and not even catchy. It's just all around lame yet you people seem to think it's good.

But hey, that's what threesomes are for.

The Sonic R soundtrack is pure 90's eurodance in the vein of 2 Unlimited, Corona and so forth. And they even added the option of lyrics or instrumental, which is nice. I still know most of the lyrics to this day.

My favourite soundtrack off the system has to be Panzer Dragoon Saga. From the Atolm Dragon fight music to the tracks from the ruins of Uru.

Glorious Richard Jacques. I saw him give a conference at the Eurogamer expo last year and he seemed cool. He's still doing music for Sega games, I think the latest was Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.
