This is one of the best JRPG's of all time.

Dragon Quest 9 was fun for some reason but every other level 5 game I played was awful. Dark Cloud is one of the worst roguelike style games ever made.

It's fun to play, but the hunt quest quotes are seriously way too fucking high. I've gotten through about 2/3rds of the game and just fucking quit, cause I wanted to grind out the ranks and get the good shit, so I was way overleveled for everything in the main plot.

Weapon fusing was stupidly addictive
Fights were repetitive but at least they were quick and fast paced
