I own both, and they are both good for their own use. There are some games for OG Xbox that weren't ported from the PS2 and vice versa (Halo, JSRF, Ninja Gaiden). OG Xbox had better ports in terms of graphics, but missed out on some exclusive PS2 games (God Hand, Ratchet & Clank, FFX, Onimusha, Sly Cooper, etc...).
