I have no problem with the consoles. But I certainly don't like the fanboys who bashes on certain consoles like they do with the Sega Saturn and N64, as well as the games such as Sonic CD and Yoshi's Island.

Agreed for the 4th generation but as for the 5th, the N64 has almost no games unless you are a toddler. It has Zelda and that's it. Whereas the PS1 has dozens of great games, yes it has shovelware too but it has so many better games than it's Nintendo competitor.

I always felt like Nintendo was the better system up until the PS2 was around at the same time as the N64. When the Gamecube came out it was a contender and I liked it more but the PS2 was a DVD player and a next gen console so it was more popular.

I really don't remember any friends except for one that had a Genesis with Sonic and Knuckles and it was really fun. Everybody else I knew had a SNES and N64. The Playstation was popular and had Tony Hawk and more Mature games which was cool but I was like 10 so I preferred the Nintendo games.

My first console. It wasn't until I was an adult that I realized pic-related was for rich kids like me, and Atari was for poor white trash.

This game still holds up to the test of time - It's supposed to be a "fantasy adventure" but to 6 yr old me it was terrifying survival horror:
