Hi guys. I have a question. How to get mouse working on ePSXe? I have been searching google for past few hours to no avail.

What I am trying to get is standard FPS configuration (WASD with mouse look) so any help is appreciated.

You just enable it in the plugin settings and then press F5. Just like you use Dualshock etc.

1.8 man. I am trying to get Medal of Honor running with standard FPS configuration, because as much as it is fun, mouse is better.

I did port 1 digital and port 2 digital/mouse, didn't configure anything. In-game, mouse doesn't worked (even durning gameplay/non menus

Why are you so sure it supports the mouse? The only FPS I knew that did was that laughable Quake II port.

If it doesn't, then yes, your only choice is joy2key, but egads, good luck calibrating that.

Does THE GAME support analog sticks anyway? I don't remember any PSOne games that had 6th gen type free look.

I've checked, and you can't map mouse to analog sticks. You can use joytokey etc., but I doubt it's going to be better than the d-pad, or indeed at all usable.

Also, you aren't getting FPS-type mouse controls anyway. Look, the analog stick just doubles the d-pad controls. It doesn't work like 6th gen FPS games do.

Hmm.

Well, your best bet is to get JoyToKey and start tinkering. Mouse axes for look, mouse buttons for some buttons of your choice, WASD for the D-Pad, shoulders and start/select ont he keyboard.

Why'd you do that anyway? The game autoaims and never requires looking up, it was made to work with an old PS controller.

Most likely, but it's going to work like shit. If you spend, like, an hour calibrating, you may end up with moderately usable mouselook. Right analog stick X to mouse X, you know, right analog stick Y to mosue Y, X to LMB, triangle to RMB, etc.

The point is, the game really doesn't need it. It's fully playable with those original Doom controls it's using.

aaw fuck, it has no GUI so I have to write the fucking scripts myself and sheeeeeeeeeeeit.
