I dunno if it single handedly ruined the hobby but a lot of the times you see people online complaining about games is because they emulated them on a phone with input lag and touch controls, not realizing the main problem is the emulation, but they blame the games.

I personally don't understand how anyone can play video games on a phone. Terrible fucking t ouch screen controls which only work for games that require no reflexes, unless you get some kind of clip on controller add on, and even then you're still stuck with a tiny screen on a piece of overheating shit with no battery life and lots of lag that can get interrupted any minute by a call.

But if that's how people get into retro games, who gives a shit? I just want there to be interest.
