Remember there was like 7 years between the episodes and not everyone watches the show religiously. And it was a kind of semi-revenge challenge since Arino couldn't do it first time around. And it had a movie to promote and the voice command system which was cool. The fake trailer they made was really cool.

Presumably they'll tackle the dreamcast game in 2024.

Here's the thing, they already did episodes like Space Channel 5 (Micheal Jackson) and Dragon Quest (Koichi Sugiyama). There are also two as-of-yet unreleased challenges, one of which is rather heavy on fanservice and the other has IKKO as a running joke. I don't think TenNapel and Tallarico's involvement is really that big of an issue. The truth is, there are 20+ episodes planned for the future with things being really quite busy behind the scenes. Everyone has their hands full at the moment. and Jim just isn't in the cards right now, sorry. I personally wouldn't have an issue working on it (and I did tell them so). In the end, they are genuinely nice people who are really passionate about the show. They don't deserve any drama over this.
