Any good games for this thing?

I completely missed it and only know major stuff people won't shut up about like Chrono Trigger,Final Fantasy,Earthbound,Dragon Quest,Mario,Zelda and that's pretty much it.

I want to make fun of op for asking an obvious question, but instead I'll actually try and help. As with any instance of "are these games good?", it all amounts to personal taste, all I can do is recommend games I personally enjoyed, nothing objective.
>Super Castlevania 4
>Super Metroid
>Super Street Fighter 2
>Donkey Kong Country
>Megaman 7
>Romancing Saga
>The SMT games
>Star Fox
>F-Zero
>all the Final Fantasy games except Mystic Quest (be warned that you may want to play a fan translation of 4 though, as it's original localization isn't very good)
>all the Dragon Quest games (although personally I'd recommend the GBC remakes of the first three over the snes remakes)

It's got a fuckton hidden gems, some anons here have done a good job so far but here's a few offbeat picks of mine:

>Wild Guns (awesome gallery shooter)
>Soul Blazer ( top down action RPG about restoring the world)
>The Ninja Warriors (badass sidescroller beat'em up)
>GS Mikami (easy-ish Castlevania clone starring a hot anime chick, music by the Castlevania 1 lady, short and fun)
>Goof Troop (Co-op Zelda ripoff by Shinji Mikami that has no business being this fun, play it with a bud)
>Doremi Fantasy (cutesy platformer with great art direction and a really unique OST)
>Pop'n Twinbee (slow shmup with some great art, music and fun moves, also 2 player co-op, MAP THE PUNCH TO A SHOULDER BUTTON IN THE OPTIONS SCREEN, thank me later)
>Parodius (surprisingly good arcade port, has an extra level, pretty hard)
>Hagane (Like Shinobi on the SNES, but even harder, fun but really fucking hard)
>King of Demons (Castlevania with a gun and some real weird shit in it, one of the most fucked up SNES games)

Also if you want more 16 bit goodness look into the PC Engine if you can too, that one has lots of fin games. Have fun anon.

Depends on what you're looking for. The SNES has a lot of great games spanning all sorts of genres. From the list you gave, it seems like you favor adventure/RPG titles, so try out Tales of Phantasia, Gunman's Proof, the Gaia series, Seiken Densetsu series, and Breath of Fire series. The system has a lot to offer, plenty which are good, even more if you're willing to try other genres too.

Well it's a very good game, so there's that. And unlike Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts it gives you a long life meter and lots of healing items. So you don't need to worry about difficulty. It has excellent graphics, sound, atmosphere, and mechanics. Its only substantial weaknesses are that the levels are a bit shorter and simpler than a relatively hardcore player would prefer and that some of the many abilities it gives you are a bit too strong or too weak (most significantly the aforementioned healing items, some of which are VERY strong). If that sounds good to you then you should play it. And then if you liked it and didn't do everything in it, play it again.

Personally I like Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts a lot and I enjoy its difficulty... but I still like Demon's Crest a bit better, even though it's the weaker game in that particular respect. It has many other strengths.

All that's left is zoomers and zillennials, and they havem't played anything older than games from 1998. So they repeat memes like "SNES and Genesis only have platformers". Could you guys help figure out what a certain game for the SNES was?

It was a plaformer and you could tell how much health you had from a small square on the top of the screen that had your face on it that would get more and more bloody (maybe) as you got hurt.

First stage (maybe) was a dark themed almost forest like stage?

Shit this might have been a Genesis title, I feel pretty strong that it was 16 bit.
