I keep thinking about how the only chance Marina would have of coming back would be to get into Smash. But she's on the same fucking boat as Geno. The same distant Square-Enix boat.
In any case, she'd probably be broken. She can transform any energy projectile into healing blue gems, can stop any punch by just grabbing the fist (like with the Migen fight and Teran at the ending to get the last gold gem) and throwing it back. Would she have generic fight moves as well as mid air grabbing? Would she be super fast? Would you be able to repeatedly tap left or right to go almost as fast as Fox? Would she have air dashes? Who knows.
It's just a pipe dream. Treasure is dead and Mischief Makers will probably forever live in obscurity.

Besides Ikaruga, what else does Treasure actually own? Their name shows up alongside Enix in both M. Makers and Rakugaki Showtime, the latter of which was re-released on the PS3 ages ago and also had Treasure listed under the copyright info.
