Hey /vr/ I have a Dreamcast and 2 controllers but I was curious if this thing was worth it? Has anyone here used one?

D-pad is shit, and the VMU port is too tight, but other than that it's okay.

>> No.6718005

Just looked and it's on Amazon. Didn't realize it was $50 expensive, but I guess you could try it and return it for free if you don't think it's worth it.

>D-pad is shit
Can it really be worse than the original? I feel like that was one of their selling points.

Lad....

It's better than the original one, but it's still bad. You'll want to keep using an arcade stick for fighting games.
Don't know how they fucked up considering the d-pad on their N64 pad is alright.

>> No.6718054

It literally looks like a DC controller with downs syndrome

You playing Dino Crisis on that thing, buddy?

>> No.6718061

Back in the day, the DC controller felt to me like a reasonable progression from the N64 controller, and it never bothered me. Now, for some reason, it feels extremely awkward. Can’t tell if my shitty hands are getting old or what.

No, because I don't play crap games like that.

Of course. Dino Crisis is the bestest fightan game for the DC to use a fightan stick with.

Yep, can confirm D-Pad is meh.
Pressing forward often times unwillingly presses left or right as well, but not as crap as the original.

You might as well just get a Brook converter for cheaper. Otherwise I would stick with the Dreamcast controller
>>6718040
Does the DC stick use Sanwa type parts or is it stiffer Seimitsu type?

Is it a dreamcast controller made of playdough?

It's ridiculous there isn't an affordable wireless controller out there yet.

I imagine it'll at least be cheaper than the $200 dreamconn.

I've been holding out for that. I just can't justify $400 for 2 controllers, I already paid enough for DCHDMI as is.
