I quite like that GBA render of ALttP Link tbf. It's one of the few things worth nothing about the GBA remake, which was otherwise terrible. I actually rated ALttP poorly since that was the only way I'd ever played the game, until years later when I got around to trying out the original - huge gameplay improvement from the squarer screen, richer colours and non-tinny sound. Lungs actually makes a lot of sense, given the position, colouring and shape of the rooms. The middle chamber, the tall thin one right after the mouth, must be his heart then, given the ventricle-like structure and moving valve. The lower bits don't look lungish mind but there you are. Note however that there appears to be an intestinal tract running along the walls of those rooms - suspicious stuff.

Also I think Jabu has gills? He is a magic whale-fish in any case.
