/vr/ - Retro Games

I've got a few of these packed up somewhere. When I worked at EB back in the day they were meant to be pre-order prizes but when those pre-orders were never picked up, they had a bunch of extras. They sold them to employees for a penny, lol.

Got this set for like 14.99 back in the year 2000.
Not the best looking figures but, as OP said, pretty comfy, and for the price I paid I can't complain.

Diablo 2

I just bought this R-type figma, the detail is awesome. There aren't many good SHMUP collectibles but this one is top notch.

Can anybody recall what I am about to describe, or was it just a figment of my imagination? I cannot for the life of my find it on Google.

I remember being a kid and walking through Target - they had a clearance end cap and on there they had a LoZ soundtrack, with a replica shield for a few dollars. I remember the shield being about as big as a CD, and thinking it was pretty neat but not asking my mom to buy it for me. I'm pretty sure it was the soundtrack for either Ocarina of Time or Majoras mask.

I regret not buying it to this day, and now I cannot even find it online.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Got Ninten, Ana and Lloyd back in 2011 for about $30 each. Teddy was like $17 so I thought I'd buy him later, since it seemed demand for him wasn't too hight.
I was wrong and now Teddy is now one of the hardest ones to find, and the asking price is over $70, oh well.

The shield and sword look very similar to what I remember, except it was definitely way before Twilight princess. It was not a fancy box like that either - I remember the shield was right on top of a CD case.

I used to have a boatload of little pvc Mario figurines. It was the closest thing to action figures they made of Mario at the time.
I also had two Mario dolls, a big one and a little one. They were ugly as hell but I loved them.
