Here we go again.

The 3DO does 3D reasonably through its custom chips, which the PC-FX can't do. Every attempt at 3D has to be purely done on the main CPU of the PC-FX, which makes it rather slow.

Well, prove otherwise then? The system has no means draw polygons in hardware nor does it have any component to accelerate the calculations involved in drawing 3D graphics. That doesn't mean you can't do polygon graphics on the system, but only in software, levered by the CPU.

Not really. It's easier to do 3D on the system as it's more in line with what you'd expect for a system geared at doing 3D. The ceiling for what the system is capable of though is much lower than the Saturn. It only has a 12MHz ARM CPU after all.
