I'd be having more fun with this game if it were easier to dodge traffic.

Also LGR seems to hate this game so maybe it's not that great.

Test Drive 5 is the one I really want to play (as I have actual nostalgia for that) but I'm holding off playing that until I can put my Windows 98 PC together and play the PC version.

Test drive 5 is a complete letdown mainly because the game is broken

this was the time when racing games, even good arcade shit made by sega was replaced by NFS, Rally Games, Ridge Racer and Gran Turismo.

It's nice that LGR covers a lot of material, but you really can't count on his taste in fun. He really just kinda seems to like juvenile destruction in games.

One thing about this game is it has some really good graphics for the age. The way it can simulate shadows from overhanging trees looks ahead of its time.

I like that each car is distinct in terms of sound design, particularly the Chevelle. It's better than having 500+ vacuum cleaner cars, such as in your typical Gran Turismo game.
