No thanks. I'll just play directly on the console on my LED. It's more convenient that way

I have a CRT why the fuck would I buy that

I got chink OSSC for a price and shipping of one RAD2X, which is so infinitely better option that it's not even an argue.

I use an Open Source Scan Converter, which I intend to use until I get my hands on a Trinitron with RGB-Scart or YPbPr Component input.

It's just a RetroTINK that connects directly to a single console.

Most of the time yes, but component/RGB is preferred. Emulators are fine too, but buying expensive devices just to have worse results than both is just retarded.

What's the issue? Sometimes games output in a weird ratio, but you can make it look alright with your TV zoom settings

>> No.6609418

I always get some weird display issues with GSM. Unplayable scrambled garbage or it being placed oddly on one side, too small etc. My TV supports the resolutions fine and I’m using a legit Sony component but it just has never worked out.

>> No.6609480

>>6609418
I only had issues with the image being too small, since it looks like it tries to output 480p inside 720p without stretching. All games I tried ran at 480p though

Because some games are in italian and I preffer to play games in my native language

>> No.6610061

Yes, just make it output in NTSC.
OPL actually made Gran Turismo 3 playabe to me since now I can play the EU version and use km/h instead of Subway sandwiches per second, or something like that
