He was at his best with Dr. Slump and early Dragon Ball. He didn't get to do any really great artwork in his prime for Dragon Quest except for the japanese box art.

I don't mind his DBZ era stuff and his Zenithian trilogy art, but it's a step back from his more fun and rounded style previously.

He's not getting any better either, now everything he draws has extremely skinny limbs and large heads, it's ridiculous.

Also I think his best design was Giran.

They traveled time was my point and are invented in the Magic Kingdom era. If Magus can open portals all on his own then it stands to reason that back then they had time travel. Where else did Magus learn such a thing to summon portals? They had teleportation. Bending time and space like that implies they had time travel.

Also they are used as practically door locks and to serve people in general, like with teleportation out of the Black Omen for instance.
