Well considering we all play games from the 70's up to the end of the 90's: yes.

In technology and media (which videogames is apart of both) once something is about a year or two old, it's borderline obsolete and someone will consider it old.

The 2010s were nothing more than just a homogeneous haze in gaming. The HD twins didn't do anything but graphics and woke BS, and Nintendo just shot themselves in the foot for 5 years with the Wii U. The only thing that really mattered was the rise of independent game developers.

Contrast this with the evolution in gaming from the 80s to the 2000s where each new game felt like lightning in a bottle with new gameplay, features, and technology to define themselves as being the videogame zeitgeist by exploring new frontiers.

When Mario 64 was released, it was like putting a man on the moon.

You may be surprised. Games to me don't feel old, but what about movies from 20 years ago? The Room was from 2003, do you really think of it as new? Or say, the Sony Spider-Man movies, or Pirates of the Caribbean? What about Fast and Furious 1-3? I understand the feeling on game age, but for other stuff I don't see it at all.

I also find it funny to point out that gamefaqs itself would be considered ancient by this poll, given that it started in mid-90s. Never forget that GFAQs still hosts a Dark Forces walkthrough that addresses whether or not the game is a doom clone.

"Woke BS" wasn't a thing on the HD consoles, you're confusing it with their successors, which btw are themselves nearly a decade old. Absolutely not, 20 years ago is much "older" in the context of games than it is in the context of films. The last movie I watched is from '85, and I wouldn't consider that an "old" movie. Hell, I'm going to start watching "Brief Encounter" from '45 pretty soon, and while it's "old" it isn't even close to the oldest movie I've seen recently.

Those movies definitely feel like modern stuff to me. The Batman movies from the 90's, those are old movies, but then X-men, spiderman, matrix, pirates of the caribbean, it's all modern. The ninja turtles from the early 2000's will always be the new ninja turtles to me, and the new power rangers are all the ones made after lost galaxy. Like, even if I was still a small kid, there was a completely different feel to everything made after the turn of the century, suddenly everything was like, you know, sleek and modern.
