Saturn only because it would force a professional programming team to make an emulator for it and it would, in theory, greatly expand the emulation scene for it. Sega's internal division is woefully incompetent and hasn't been able to emulate it (or CD, even, but that's more proof of incompetence) and the hobby scene is passable at best.

I know there are absolute fuckloads of repro atari consoles, but none of them actually modeled off the original. I'd like to see it in a wood grain heavy sixer, or 4 switch, but it needs the wood grain. Something that looks like the real deal but scaled down.

As far as I understand, all these new "mini" consoles are merely emulators put inside fancy console-looking devices. They are not consoles with proper hardware within. Don't see the point of it if you have a PC able to emulate said classic consoles, really.

While I do like having the real thing, the mini consoles allow you to have the next best thing and modding it and adding your own roms makes it a great emulator. Storage size is a problem the more recent the console is, but being able to easily play any game from that console you want with the "original" controller.

These things are only interesting for the controllers, and maybe for unreleased prototypes. So the Nintendo 64, I guess, since it had a weird controller.

All of these things would be interesting to see in a mini console, but none of them will ever happen:

>actually revives online play for Dreamcast games
>has 240p analog output
>is for a portable console, like the Game Boy, Game Gear, etc.
If any of these happened, I'd probably buy one, but they won't, because mini consoles are fucking boring.
