The Tower of Druaga. Would have been cool to see in an arcade back in the day. Apparently there was a note pad or something similar attached, so you could help fellow players get further and communally beat the game.

Xanadu, next to Ultima and Dragon Quest it was the third pillar of RPG's in Japan, never got an official release in North America, but its spin-offs and sequels did, like Faxanadu and Legacy of The Wizard.
