I hoard everything and know I have at least a few of those. At least one is PAL. I've never paid more than a buck so your $78 bid is safe

I wonder if this truly is the last generation of collectors. I myself don't collect games, but less than $100 for something sought after and over 20 years old and will probably become harder to come by is not "ridiculous" by any means.

yup and here i thought i was overpaying, that just goes to show how expensive and sought after it is now, especially with the box, which i have too btw. i used to buy them for 25-30 dollars now its almost $100 for a good condition one, just for the box.

what are you on about? There were no extras. All the collectors had was the gold color plastic. All other copies were Gray.

Are loose OoT carts really selling for $80? What about games that there aren't a billion copies of? Should I start selling my collection?

Also, not all copies are equal. There are three different ROM variations all compiled prior to the game's initial release, spread across the gray and gold carts, making for a total of six retail variations released in it lifetime.

Gold 1.0
Gray 1.0
Gold 1.1
Gray 1.1
Gray 1.2
Gray 1.2 (Players Choice)
