Glad you came around to it.
I recommend checking out the Dreamcast original though. I'm not one to use use the "Soul/Souless" meme, but I emulated the first game a while back and I'm surprised at how much it got changed in Worlds. There were even some scenes missing and a few neat touches that got dropped (like Linear doing something in the background while Mag is shopping/in the Cyframe repair shop).
2 doesn't seem as different, but I haven't been able to play it much right now.

Was there a final boss fight with this guy that was cut? I remember being weirded out by how anti-climactic his stage was and how suddenly the game ends when he starts to fly away and Green crashes into him. His caped version radiating power from the title screen didn't even appear in-game.
