Genesis came out like a year before the SNES. Lucky kids got it, but you were stuck with it for a while cause most parents wouldn't get a SNES after spending the cash on a Sega.

Ha, it's funny because even in the 90's I noticed that all the wiggers (which were a relatively new phenomenon at the time) had a Genesis with Mortal Kombat. The nerds had an SNES, which is coincidentally the only truly great console ever made.
