>>6341961
As >>6347397 said, absolutely do not hire movers to take care of your CRT. I worked freelance for a couple moving companies one summer and they were all terrible. One of them used to try squeezing in two moves a day on weekends, so we would be working from 6-9 and we would be dead tired (and not at all careful) as a result. Another company, my coworkers were cracked-out nigs and natives who stole something with every move, no exceptions. They also treated people's stuff like shit in general. This was around the time that people were tossing their CRT televisions, so we seldom moved those, but I do remember my coworkers breaking a full length mirror and a plasma TV. No matter where I worked, we were always being shouted at to hurry up. If you're going to move, then move the CRTs yourself. Or better yet, ask friends to help and buy them beers.

It has to be tidy and well organized obviously. Good lighting is a must, can't go wrong with some soft and warm lights. Having a light next to or behind your TV helps a lot with eye strain for added comfort. Comfy seating ideally a couch. I could give you more specific advice if you post what you have now.

I recently got a AV utility cart for my pre-HD games. Got the CRT on top, the console in use on the middle tier and my other consoles, controllers and cables on the lower tier. It's been pretty nice for the small space I live in since I can roll it out of the way when I'm done.

That'll strip can also be used to route cables and/or mount a power strip. Whether for aesthetics, or simply because you don't want to accidently pull out a cable.

I think that workflow is definitely probable, but that appears to be a bog-standard Famicom and Disk System, which would have been RF or maybe modded for composite manually, and that may or may not be a PVM. It seems likely it's just a regular Famicom. The Sharp Titler wasn't out when Mario 3 would have been in production, so the PC-10 or Japanese equivalent would have been the only Famis with RGB PPUs, and modding one of those into the OG Famicom case is a mess, I doubt it would be something done at scale, with absolutely NO surviving specimens now.

>They didn't develop famicom games using PC's like nowadays.

Not him but Nintendo's in-house used a Fujitsu FM R-50 HD business computer for pixel art and a HP 64000 mainframe with a 6502 processor card for code.

I just leave my door open, or mostly cracked, its right next to my living room with a big ass ceiling fan so it stays pretty well vented.

Nice. The cables would bother me after a while, but it's cool otherwise. Maybe hang a flyer in the back?

Stacked TVs are gross, so are bean bag chairs. Draw some inspiration from the 60's and throw in a bunch of blankets and pillows for floor seating.

Looks comfy anon. Do you have central air down there?

I agree the stacked tvs was gross. That's a old picture and was still a work in progress. I put up more christmas tree lights, one tv, and a bunch of blankets and pillows around.
About the bean bag chair..it is starting to really suck. Higher end ones are super expensive and I don't sitting on the ground but for long periods of time i prefer lounging in a chair of some sort. Any ideas of what to use?
