IIRC doesn't it actually have flashing signs that tell you exactly what to do before it happens? I never had any problem with these sections because the signs made the difficulty trivial. If it tells you to jump then just fucking jump, what is the problem here exactly?

Heh well don't you think you're so smart. The reason they do that is because they know it's cheap and they had to think "well...let's try to help rather than abandon this shitty mechanic or make it fun"

It does indeed tell you to "jump jump" or "slide slide" but it is not that simple, as each jump and slide requires a different momentum and timing, so it's really just an annoying high speed memorization sequence that is not fun at all.

Personally I hate that shit in any game. If I wanted to play a racing game or skateboard simulator or whatever the fuck I'd choose those games. Games that are not vehicular games forcing those sections in half assedly always sucks.

Well, MM&B is a great game but it can have its unfair moments too, like a boss with destroyable moving platforms over a pitfall, a boss that regenerates, Bass main weapon against bosses...

The only thing I don't like about the jet-board segments is some of the enemies that you pretty much can't kill, at least not buster only, not when they spawn 3 of those big green bombers in a row.

I know you're supposed to dodge them but I just don't like it. They should have offered the possibility to kill them ALL buster only with great tight timing.

Otherwise it's not bad, but I understand if some players get frustrated by it.
