That aside, hl is a masterpiece. So is opposing force.
Going through the residue reprocessing level then out into surface tension was so cool still remember the first time fighing the soldiers and helicopter with the rocket launcher. Unreals outdoor areas were amazing but hl you were fighting soldiers n tanks n shit with much better weapons.

Unreals weapons feel too fantasy sci fi for me. The stinger and the ges bio rifle are just shite. HL experemental weapons feel more realistic like the kind of shit they would have had at black mesa. They fit the story well.
