tanzer is honestly not that good. the lack of continues is used as a crutch for how all the bosses can be killed easily by exploiting a certain spot. level layouts are way too basic and enemy waves are too repetitive. it's way longer than it needed to be.

The homebrew scene on the Snes is unfortunately lackluster. The Mega Drive/Genesis has an amazing homebrew scene with games like Xeno Crisis, Ultracore, FX Unit Yuki, Tanglewood, Tanzer, Griel's Quest for the Holy Porrón, Megamindtris and more! Plus there are more amazing releases upcoming this year!

Xeno Crisis has actually been getting quite a bit of coverage, especially for a retro game. Just type Xeno Crisis in YouTube. It plays amazing on the mega drive with the six-button controller. The graphics and gameplay are great and the soundtrack is absolutely amazing too. It was done by Savaged Regime. All ports of the game use the Mega Drive/Genesis soundtrack.
