How many enemies are like that besides the turtles and the green caped knife-throwers? Been a while since I played so this is a genuine question

But either way, they only take a few hits, so if they were always vulnerable you could just plow through them, which would remove the need to learn their patterns

I only hate the wobbly guys, but most "hard" enemies just need the special weapon to knock out. Its not hard.

The Sniper Joe ducks are easily dealt with cus you can Sniper Joe yourself by pressing up, defend their attack and easily hit their weak frames. Even knew this being a kid playing the GB version. The whole game is far less punishing than Megaman.
