I always found opposing force to be too boring to get through. HL1 and Blue Shift were fine, but I have never been able to get through opposing force.

I don't understand why they made it so the cool scientific weapons had basically no ammo. It's like they learned nothing from the build engine shooters or doom. The bland endless corridors and deserts would be tolerable if the gameplay wasn't so fucking shit.

Its a fun spinoff, but every coop part is a fucking chore to go through. At least Blue Shift didnt have that bullshit.

DUSK is very good, and not very expensive, and very good as well. The level design is excellent, and made me think of HL1. It plays more like Quake than HL, though.

Oppsoing Force needed to be like 2 hours longer, intersperse its gimmicks better(recruitable marinees are only necessary in like 5 situations and there's only 2-3 times to use the Barnacle) and a not shit final boss to be the best HL game, but its close.
