Clone consoles.

I like how it leaves the cart sticking out. I like it better than the flimsy push down slot on a NES

Does it play both NSTC and PAL carts? I just noticed you are playing Parodius on it

I've had this for some time. A family boy FC Bought it like 6yrs ago on EBAY and it has this weird adapter to play US games. You take it out and it plays Japanese NES games. Controllers have turbo button options too. I still own a toaster version too.

The first thing I noticed too. Any issues with running PAL titles in 60hz OP? I hear they generally weren't optimised.

A google about says it does, apparently it was supposed to come with an adaptor for famicom carts,

Unsure, I never really notice different speeds as I dont have any US carts

I think you mean Famicom

If it plays both NSTC and PAL carts, I'm getting that shit. If someone else gets this clone, can they confirm if Famicom carts work using the same pin adapter we use in our NES?

That thing looks awesome.

That's what the NES should have been. Front-loading is cool, but the dumb Zero Insertion Force slot was awful.

Absolutely, all I want are 60hz games (with maybe the ability to play FC games) and I don't fancy importing an NTSC NES.

How many games work using a pin adapter, anyway? Don't games use those extra pins?

the stuff on the side remind me of the stuff written on the inside of the booklets that came with OK Computer era Radiohead releases, lol

this looks like it was designed in the 50s

Guess they were going for the Famicom look. Its cheap but functional and it was only like $13 when I bought it.

You can mod an European NES if you live in PAL territories to play NSTC games

I have been able to play every Famicom cart on my NSTC NES, I have come across. The only tricky ones are those that have bigger cases, which can still be played if you take out their chip and put it in a smaller case

>> No.625245

>>625234
You can't get 60hz though even through modding, that's the point.

Oh, noted. Damn PAL 50hz speed

What's the name of this, OP? I'm usually not too fond of clone consoles, but I've had so many problems with the fucking toaster that I wouldn't mind one (and toploaders are a bitch to find for <$100).
