PSU is nearly a decade and a half old, of course there's going to be some nostalgia for it.
But at the same time that's not why I think it's SOULful, PSO2 is just soulless garbage that's sterile in every sense of the word. It tries to hard to just fit in with what the modern day otaku would like, even including anime highschool storyline shit.
