Fun game, banging music, one of the first DC games I had. I like that the story is original and doesn't fuck with the manga. Never liked games that only represent some arbitrary fraction of a whole story like the PS2 game, even though that one has better mechanics.

I learned that the hard way. I binged it all and caught up like 4 years ago and I haven't read it since. I'm sure I could catch up in a day if I felt like it but god damn I can't even make myself do that. It was a wild fucking ride though.

He said on an interview that he's training up his assistants with Duranki (a side manga from his studio) so that he can eventually delegate the bulk of the drawing Berserk to them and not have it look like shit. The frequency of chapters is going to skyrocket once that actually happens.
also the 97 show is just ok does not do justice to how amazing the manga is at all.

Both berserk and eva are good stuff that people like to hate because they're popular. berserk has some extra hipster points maybe, because it's not as popular or big as Eva, but still pretty surface entry level stuff even normalfags know about.

Haven't really finished the DC one (sound glitches while emulating prevented me). PS2 version was pretty cool (even though the fan translation felt really Duwang and the game is piss easy as I haven't died once playing on normal).
