It's fun but I'm getting bodied by the AI. Can I turn the speed down on the arcade version, and is there any way to enable a training mode or something?

I used to play it locally with people and on fightcade and put in a lot of time, I was pretty good with a handful of characters. Haven't touched fighting games in like 6 months. Probably lost all my skill by now lmao

the AI in this game is notoriously hard and there is nothing you can do about it, even at the easiest difficulty it will whoop your ass

Do you play on fightcade? ST usually has 30-40 people when active, CE has like 60 at times.

Never been into ST myself, I don't think I have the patience to deal with shit like O. Sagat or Vega, but it's really fun to watch. I like watching the acho east vs west matches on youtube, it's cool seeing the variety of characters used in Japan.

Alpha 2 is my favorite because I like Rose, Sakura, and Final Fight characters a lot. I play Super Turbo occasionally but I am much worse at it than other SF games. It requires really tight fundamentals compared to the newer ones which is probably part of the reason it's so enduring.

A2 is pretty newcomer and scrub friendly, it's why I feel it is more popular then A3. It's also the main reason I play it over A3, A3 is hard as fuck to play properly and as a scrub I would rather just fuck around in A2.

Everything is supposed to work how it is supposed to in A2, where as SF2 has fucked hitstun, fucked damage, fucked frame data, and fucked hitboxes, etc....

SF2 series is incredibly full of jank shit and randomness, that makes it fuckin retarded. But its legacy as THE OG Fighting Game keeps it in high regard.

Doesn't Dictator have a block infinite in CE or is that only CE Dictator in Hyper Fighting? Because I remember that CE Dictator is the strongest character in any version of SF2 (not counting Akuma of course) because of that.

Man, I really wish a cool guy with 1337 haxoring skillz would convert pic related (and maybe also Champion Edition on Sega) to Super Street Fighter II Turbo, and not just the roster and movelists, but also the intro and aesthetics of the arcade game.
