Gimme an essential Game Boy games list. I find myself lacking of original Game Boy titles.

No Pokemon, no black cart GBC enhanced games, just the grey carts.

I have:

Are the Donkey Kong Land games essential or are they just portable versions of the Country games like I know DKL2 is?

When /vr/ started out and people rushed to make /vr/s recommended (system here) lists, some of those threads ended up discussing the wiki as well. Apparently quite a few of the wiki admins browse this board, and they too acknowledged that in it's current state the lists are way bloated and would need a cleanup (which is apparently taking place, albeit slowly).

Ikari no Yousai 2

I dunno if you can find that easily in cart form but the game is really cool from what I played on an emulator.

Also go for the Final Fantasy Adventure series (those are the ones that are just relabeled Seiken Densetsu right?) and maybe Final Fantasy Legends (aka the first three SaGa games) if you like super-duper weird RPGs.

Land 1 and 3 are completely different, new levels and stuff, specially Land 1. Land 2 is more or less a Demake of Country 2, but the level layouts are all different so it's great to play, too.

This is actually the only GB Megaman game I own, and from what I've played of the others on emulators. the best one. It also has it's own color pallet and border for the Super Game Boy.
