I got tricked into playing BoF twice and hated it each time. I'm tempted to play dragon quarter, it might actually be good since the people with awful taste that keep recommending BoF1-4 to me seem to hate it.

BoF 1 and 2 are extremely archaic and outdated jrpgs even for their prime. I can still pick up FFI and DQI to play this day, yet cant stand more than 10 minutes of Breath of Fire in comparison. Its just jarring. crude and plainly unfun

Breath of Fire 1 cutting edge shit when it came out in Japan in 1993.
Both Breath of Fire 1 and 2 had fully animated enemies something which Final Faggotry and Dragon Bore didn't.
