What do you think of Blade Runner (1997)?

It's definitely up there as one of my favourite point-and-clicks alongside crazier titles like Phantasmagoria. It's also the best cyberpunk game on par with System Shock in my opinion.

I condensed the plotline into a mini-movie for anyone interested in the Blade Runner universe, although I do wish it was an entirely original story. https://youtu.be/X3XK8PCa8Cw

It's undeniably comfy.

GOG has it DRM free for 10 dollars or less, FYI.

>making a thread specifically to shill your shitty jewtube channel in the op
No thanks. The proper way to do it is to make a thread, create discussion, participate in the discussion, and then further down shill your shitty channel.

It's so damn short, it and all of the good parts are just 1:1 copies of scenes from the movie.

I love point n clicks so I gave it a try but something feels kinda boring and weird so far, should I keep playing it?

whoever thought of an adventure game without subtitles should was fucked in the head. Never game it more than 3 minutes due to that. I want to play my adventure games comfy

I hated how it gives the impression that investigating the case and collecting all the evidence actually matters when it doesn't. At first glance the game appears deep and intricate but it's actually as shallow as a puddle.

It's a masterpiece, bought on GOG for literally nothing and it's still incredible.

Still own the CD-ROM and DVD-ROM releases. Considering buying it again from GOG.

GIVE ME A HARD COPY OF THAT

How much do you think an used copy with the 4 CDs in very good conditions would be worth? Spanish version. The box is also good, it's not the big one though

My two cents about it

1 - It's a point-and-click adventure game, the oldest and most traditional of all PC gaming genres. For those not familiar with the genre, after all it's not common anymore due to the explosion of shooter games and console ports, it requires quite some intuitive and deductive thinking skills to know what to do next, while dealing with a clunky interface. Recommended only for players with patience to spare and higher than average IQ.

2 - It's heavily story focused, the narrative being the central point of the game, if you prefer fast pew pew action, look elsewhere. There's also a lot of dialogue (which needs to be paid attention to) and no subtitles, so complete fluency on English language is required.

I love Blade Runner and the movie especially but never knew about this game until I found this copy at a garage sale for two bucks now I'm going to do a retro PC build says something to run it on. Now we just need a monitor

Unfortunately this is a fatal flaw for a game with such a huge potential. Almost nothing you do really matters in the end. Unacceptable.

Hahaha, I love le Civvie.
