The game looks okay, but I don't dig the music which raeps your ears as soon as you launch it. Level design is also quite repetitive and maze-y, losing half of your equipment when falling down the pits and that tornado can be frustrating for many players though. Personally I'd recommend playing The Iris Missions hack first, and goddamn, I love the music from this one, easily one of my favorite chiptunes for the system:

Just noticed a bootleg Psycho Soldier board went for less than $100 working on ebay. A deal considering how much an SNK original pcb goes for these days. Would love to have that game in a dedicated cab.

In Athena's case, it's not bikini armor. It's her underwear. He dress falls off in the opening cutscene and you spend most of the game trying to find actual armor so you don't have to run around mostly naked. But that ended up being her iconic look, so they retconned it to being her go-to outfit.
