It's an overlooked RPG for NES that was intended to be a "beginner's RPG" similar to Final Fantasy Mystic Quest. It's relatively short and somewhat easy as result but also kinda fails at it's goal as it doesn't play like most RPGs from it's era mainly due to it's combat system being based around you having to summon spirits from your items to fight for you.
