I love my Sega Saturn. I've sold everything else I own because it told me so. I walk to work every day so I can buy more Sega Saturn games. One day it will be happy with my service.

I played through code veronica, d2, and silent hill 4 on their respective systems for halloween. also bought a mouse for the ps1 and played some clock tower. I really enjoy playing them.

They're all I play. I haven't bought any new gaming hardware since the original Wii. Actually, I bought a 3DS XL, but it's basically the same thing in terms of specs. Haven't even bought any PC games; wouldn't have time to play them anyway, as the number of old games I haven't booted is humongous. I'll be long dead before I even make a fucking dent.

I play retro games almost everyday. I try to play some "actual" games but I simply can't enjoy them is not the same as old retro games. I'm currently obsessed with SFC, Ps1 and Ps2. I love the music, the crt, the colors, the ideas, the gameplay, the story, art style, the game cases. Retro gaming feels so fucking awesome, there's nothing like turning all the lights off and only having the ps1 and the sony trinitron playing games at night I gaze with passion through the window and I stare the moon while holding the controller firmly, I blink and then I lost my self with the music of a good JRPG... So much romance bros... I simply love this...

I generally dislike video games altogether, though I have a real soft spot for Nintendo 64 games since I played them a lot as a kid. I'm playing Mario 64 through again and enjoying it very much. Another reason is probably that I just stopped getting the new consoles after losing interest in gaming, the newest I own being a Wii.

To be honest, I lack the energy to do much of anything requiring much mental power most days, including playing games. I love older games and have a nice setup to play them, but I don't play them exclusively, and as mentioned earlier, I don't play videogames all the time or anything. I really wish I could, though.

I like the hardware and learning about old titles I had never heard of before. I own most of the consoles you could have, but I dont have a Vectrex, a Neo Geo AES, or a Neo Geo CD. I don't have the Toilet Seat CD player for the Jaguar either, but I don't think I'll ever bother with that.

No therapist, I'm mostly on lexapro because I have an illness that can be quite painful at times, and creates so much anxiety that I was losing hair, lexapro helps with pain and anxiety.

I play them daily. I like the aesthetic but also like to appreciate things or features that were carried forward in time because they were so good. I also like trying peoples romhacks, if they're interesting. I like reading side material to the current game I'm on, such as history, checking up on where the staff are or went with their careers, looking up the artists, listening to the osts, looking for little known material or manuals. I'm not hardcore by any means, I just really adore old games.

Also some genres have gone to absolute shit, such as JRPGs and old ones I was too poor to play as a kid are unironically better than modern ones.
