Not sure if I'd call that one a classic.
IMO classic famiclone is games up to mid 90s max. By the time those Pokemon bootleg games started appearing it was the time of the PolyStation and such.

In the early 90s, most multicarts were just 30 or 60 in 1, and most of them were original games that didn't repeat. Early Famicom games for the most part with the biggest games being Contra, SMB or Adventure Island (aka "Islander")
