When my friends and I would play CVS2, Yamazki and Zangeif was my ass rape team on K and C groove. Nothing unnerves you more than the Red Cyclone Running at you and teching every thing you throw at him.

I'd go with E. Honda.
He is the ultimate beginner character, and in SF2 his hundred hand slap can fuck you up while requiring only the ability to mash one button. He's probably the easiest character to play from a technical standpoint, even in SF4 his most damaging combos are only like 3 moves.
Also you can pull some gay shit on Super Turbo with him. Although not as gay as Vega.

You had to beat street mode with Talgeese III who was slightly challenging to unlock since you had to beat street mode on hard with both Wing Zero and Deathscythe.

There was definitely some harder shit to unlock like Psycho, but it wasn't exactly easy either.

Also Kyo Kusanagi in any of the KOF games (whether he's got his rekkas or fireballs)

Yeah, it was 3. 2 was Trieze Kushinranada's, which he took with him to his final battle. 3 was meant to be his, but it wasn't ready in time, so it eventually found it's way into Zech's hands.

Though, the time line was obviously altered a bit for GBA 2, seeing as all the Wing pilots are using their suits from the movie, except Trieze, who is piloting the Epyon. Then again, the Epyon was his in the first place, he just decided to hand it off to Heero for...whatever reason. I forget. Saging for talking about animu in a retro thread.
