Speedrun team is Kevin, dark Riesz and dark Hawk because the last two have access to Boss debuffs I think. But if you don't want to stay the whole game in critical health and just want to steam roll enemies on easy mode then do as >>5953663 says and go with all men.

Isn't it a bit redundant though since you can't exactly stack them.

Kevin(either dark personal preference really)/Riesz(Starlancer)/Hawkeye(Nightblade) is the best team for laughing at everything. Just Kevin/Dark Riesz/Charlotte is the actual Speedrun team, replace Charlotte with Angela/Duran if your doing their route(whoever's intro is shorter, might be Duran not sure)

Figured by Dolan Def-down would've shaved a few more seconds off each kill, but guess not. Not like Duran wouldve made any difference anyways. Riesz was pretty much just a body there with no class change, Duran would've literally been doing the same thing.

actually true. but in reality it's just that magic users are notoriously bad which happen to be Carlie and Angela. now if you use Lise you're doing pretty well no matter what. so all warriors and no mages applies moreso than no women because Lise is based.

Riesz gets them earlier(specifically Def-down, 6 levels earlier) and they dont proc counters Like Hawkeye's do, that and he needs to piss away points toward Agi to learn them.

You get to use her as the 3rd against Hugger, also the occasional heal incase things go south.
Thats literally it. Actual speedruns are just Kevin smashing everything with Riesz debuffing and blocking with her face and chest(Kinda like the old N64 Aki Wrestling games).

The moral of the story is, Kevin and Duran are pretty much mandatory for a good time and Angela sucks dick.

Hawkeye was picked as the primary character because of the final boss perceived as being the hardest (since it has a second form), but if they really wanted to 100% hard enemies then they should've gone out of the way for the Black Rabite on Duran/Angela route. Technically, the ACTUAL actual speedrun team should be which one between Duran/Angela and Kevin/Charlotte has the shorter dungeons and final boss. There's no discernible difference in the endings so it's not like you're getting a good ending for a certain final boss or anything.

Sticking with the couples usually has extra stuff between them (Though I dont remember anything significant between Kevin/Charlotte), and if its their route has extra or different results. Angela's the most notable about this, not playing her route has her get only half of what she gets if its her route. The extra thing she gets is hit on one of the caracters (ususally a male, but Charlotte if its all female. Ive tried but she never hits on Riesz which is disappointing).

Personally I like going Hawkeye/Riesz because Dark Castle rules.
