What are some other good Wolfenvania games for DOS besides Doom and Duke Nukem?

I love Rise of The Triad although I've never beaten it.

You mean boomer shooters?
Check out Dark Forces.

Quake barely runs well on it, but you can try. I always have issues with it being too fast.

Dark Forces fucking sucks. Its lives/saving mechanics are outdated and incongruent with the level styles, which themselves are bland as fuck, as are the enemies, weapons, and so on. It's only liked because it is Star Wars.

you are wrong on so many levels,

except for level 3, that has got to be one of the worst levels in any shooter game.

Blake Stone is a pretty good one.

i heard good things but finally played it a few years ago and go a real kick out of how obviously a doom wad it is. those were the days tho. I had fun with it but i think i kept getting stuck in too many places trying to figure out where the hell i have to go or do (a lot of doom era games have this problem) so i stopped playing. Maybe i should give it another go.

Doom supported real-time polygons and texture mapping and rooms on top of rooms? Retarded zoomer.

I liked Blake Stone more than Wolf3D, but that was right at the end of life for that engine. Doom was already out when Blake Stone got released, wasn't it?

Doom came out one week after the release of Blake Stone. I'm amazed they made a sequel on the same engine.
