You haven't explored the library enough

>>5914058
Based, imo n64 has like 20 masterpieces but only 30 good games in total, meanwhile Saturn has like 2 or 3 masterpieces (garegga being one of them) but hundreds of good games in total

The Saturn is unironically the best fifth gen system. No copious amounts of shovelware polluting its library like the PSX and not a desert wasteland of nogames like the N64.

Saturn has 3, N64 has 3, PS has 1.

Yea Die Hard Arcade, Virtua Cop, Virtua Fighter 1, and Street Fighter Alpha all looked almost identical to the arcade. It felt like a really high end/spoiled rich kid system at the time because of this desu. Like the Sega CD vibe but with actual games.

>Street Fighter Alpha
PSX version was better with transparancy

>> No.5914393

>>5914379
Um, no. If you're referring to the Blue Shadows mishap, the issue there is that the Saturn is actually using a blue transparency to tint the sprite, where as PS1 and the Arcade are using a different palette to shade the sprite blue.

So in reality as far as actual transparency goes the Saturn wins there since it's actual transparency. However if you don't like that you can disable it on the Saturn and get the palette swapped sprites instead.

Alpha in general is better on Saturn due to it being closer to the arcade in areas like resolution, sprite size, etc.:
