The City at Dawn part of Sonic Adventure was one of my favourites. Very atmospheric and comfy with that beautiful sky, the happy music, the sound of cars, the cool mist in the background, etc. It reminds me of the feeling of getting up early to go to school as a kid on early winter.

DigiWorld 1 is magical - if even the premise of the game is that a kid falls into junk data, must master archaic Tamagochi rules and slowly progress and change the lives of these digital monsters that pre rendered backgrounds, junk graphics, bugs, etc all lend to the comfy atmosphere of discovering an old forgotten digital world. As time progresses DW1 becomes and even more beautiful and isolated world in gaming.

Re: Digitalize was ok, but it was too clean, in an age of too much information available to the player, too streamlined that while it harkened back to DW1 I could never replace the real empty adventure.

The first time you get an ultimate vaccine or virus and go to the Ice Palace or Dark Manor despite not being able before.. seeing the village grow, the music on the mountains or jungle..

I would recommend anyone into retro or monster raising to play. It, but the Manuel nature of training would weed out the weak pretty quick.

The weak or reasonable. I play now and it has its cons, very long loading times even for PS1 on panel transitions, watching animations in tournaments and training. Combat skewed towards however attacks first, and making long animation ones useless in tournament play.

Crystal Palace in Romancing Saga 3 is a treat for me, a simple optional dungeon, a gem in the desert of no return until you’ve run the gauntlet of that side of the map. Love the music and the idea of this abandoned opulent Palace empty except for Dragons. Music is good too, looking forward to s real translation for RS3.
