Honestly haven't used it yet. I'm in the process of moving and my girlfriend packed and moved my Switch while I was at work earlier this week. I've been playing SNES games at home on my Mini this week anyway though. I'm sort of looking forward to testing out the Switch SNES library though. Any obscure or surprising titles on there? Has anybody tried Mario Kart online yet?

I think both have their merits, I don't think it's as simple as saying people who prefer the older game are just tryhard purists, there are unique features of 3 that people could prefer, for example maybe they like the power ups better, or the variety of levels and how different some of the levels are (I know Giant World always threw me for a loop as a kid, along with Sky World). I think World offers a little more gameplay variety and more additional content for people who like exploration and secrets, and the controls are a little better (though the controls and movement in both games is superb). I think that a reasonable argument could easily be made for preferring either one, and both games were extremely influential, not just for Mario games that came after them, but for platformers in general.

The 1st wave of pro controllers admittedly not the best, like it wasn't rigid enough so it was too common to be accidentally pushing up or down when you meant to go left and right.
However, starting with the special edition controller for Xenoblade 2, the d-pad has improved and it's perfectly fine now.
