Any bullet point tips for this before I start? I read a while ago that it has some weird quirks like some stats just not working.

how should i build my characters?
anything I should avoid? any missables?

Not fixed. That spreadsheet is inaccurate. Dex doesn't do anything at all except effect the damage of skills in only one of Hawkeye's classes. Only the lead character effects the story path. Shields don't do anything at all except apply secondary effects, and there's only one shield in the game that applies a secondary effect.

Well, you sort of bungled it already from any sort of power gaming perspective.

You can win with any combination of characters though, even easier if you abuse the consumables from the Black Market. Kevin and Hawk are also the best beatsticks in the game so it won't even be that hard even with Angela as dead weight
